2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR has been concluded with IONOS.
When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and access data may be processed by the web server. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, the requested file or page, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and HTTP status. Processing serves the secure and reliable provision of the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Server log data are retained only for the technically necessary period and are then deleted or anonymised. The law office does not analyse these data for advertising or profiling purposes.
3. Cookies, analytics and tracking
The website itself does not use analytics, marketing or tracking tools and does not create user profiles for advertising purposes. The Google Maps service described below is loaded only after your active consent.
4. Contact by telephone or email
If you contact the law office by telephone or email, the information you provide is processed in order to handle your enquiry. Where the contact concerns the initiation or performance of a legal mandate, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may apply.
5. Data processed in the lawyer-client relationship
Within a legal mandate, personal data are processed insofar as necessary to assess, establish, perform or terminate the mandate and to protect your legal interests. Processing is subject to the lawyer’s professional duty of confidentiality, in particular Section 43a(2) BRAO and Section 2 BORA. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
6. Google Maps
An interactive Google Maps view is available at the bottom of the homepage. The map is not loaded automatically. Only after you click “Show Google Maps” is a connection established to Google and the map loaded. In that case, data such as your IP address and technical usage information may be transmitted to Google. Google is responsible for its own processing of those data. The map service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the map is loaded, your IP address and technical usage data may in particular be transmitted to Google. Processing of data outside the European Union or European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. Loading the map is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
